.exe gone

Somehow all my .exe programs is opened with paint shop, lol... hth am I gonna solve this??? ... I tried to right click on the .exe files and make em' get opened with windows, but I't wont work.. Any1 got any soulution for this??

The computer says that the files are .exe files, but they still opens in Paint Shop

delete the shortcuts from the desktop....go to the program files folder and launch it from there.

What did you do before this happened?

Post a hijackthis log in the appropriate section.

goto my computer. click tools | folder options. click the file types tab. look for exe. delete the entry. ok. try the link again

Sounds like you are infected with either viruses or spyware. Connections should not drop and file types should not change. Have you ran scans?
