excel trouble

I am having a trouble using excel

I have a huge data with dates references I want to get all the data in the previous month and untill a specific date in this month
I have tried to use the filter but it give me only one pieces of information for every day

Can you be more specific on how your data is organized.. When you say months.. are they broken down on one sheet, or do you have multiple sheets per month? Also.. what filer are you using?

its only one sheet, and i am using normal filter because i am not familiar with the rest
