Default Ethical question...

My brother (recently) bought a Dell (ugh) and he got the XP Cd with it...I currently am getting a faster Cpu/Mobo and want to run Xp on it could I ask my brother for the Cd and install it on my computer?

Well I wouldn't trust software from dell, unless he got the disc from the store I would say don't do it.

If I decide to link him up to the internet wont microsoft notice 2 xp users using the same cd key?

if you dont care about updates and patches then go for it. DO not activate the software because its coded! You could always try free options linux linux or unix. the point im trying to make here is that yes you CAN theres just drawbacks. I dont think that the BSA/MPAA/RIAA or any of there goons are going to come for you.
