Hi guys, I recently formated my packard bell imedia 4083 with Windows 7 and i'm now unable to access the internet... I've also lost my packard bell ressource CD and was wondering if anyone has any direct links to the ethernet drivers, i've searched for them on google and the packard bell website and didn't find anything :/

In the device manager, I get the yellow ! next to "PCI Simple Communications Controller", for which the hardware id is :
PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3068&SUBSYS_30541631&REV80
PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3068&SUBSYS_30541631
PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3068&CC_078000
PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3068&CC_0780

Can anybody help me?

Sorry but if Packard Bell didnt make any drivers, then there is no support for your device in Windows 7. The device manufacturer is responsible for such items. The only option you might have any luck with is using software like SiSandra Software, Belarc Advisor or Everest to find out the exact make and model of the device and finding the drivers through a search for that device.
