Error Messages on Bootup

Recently, when I boot up my laptop computer I get the following error messages.

Error Loading E6F1873B.DLL
Error Loading DOCEOC16B1

After clicking "OK", in each window, the bootup completes without any further problem and the laptop functions as normal. I have conducted several google searches in an attempt to correct this annoying problem but with no success.
I have a Compac Pressario X1000 running Windows XP Professional.
Does anybody out there know what is causing these error messages and what can be done to eliminate them? Thanks.

start>>run>>msconfig>>startup tab

see if you see those files in there and if you do, uncheck them from starting up.

Run "Hijack This!", and click on the SCAN button. Look for two entries (both starting with O4) that will look extremely simular to these:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [A70F6A1D-0195-42a2-934C-D8AC0F7C08EB] rundll32.exe E6F1873B.DLL,D9EBC318C

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [98D0CE0C16B1] rundll32.exe D0CE0C16B1,D0CE0C16B1

Thanks for the reply Warez Monster. I downloaded and ran "Hijack This" and located the files you mentioned above. Problem solved !! Thanks again. Jim
