1. I have Windows ME,InCD Version 4054, and I just formatted a cd-rw disk. I then downloaded a program(setup.exe file) from the internet directly to the cd-rw disk but when I tried to install it I got this error message:
(exe is not a valid Win 32 application).
After the download is complete the icon on the cd-rw disk looks weird it looks like a ie browser web page. The thing is if I restart my pc and pop in the cd-rw disk it works, the icon looks normal and it will install. I should not have to restart my pc every time I download a program onto my cd-rw disk. That's not the way it should be there's something wrong somewhere!
I have tried this with several different downloads and I still get the exact same error message. Has anyone else run into this problem?
2. Is it possible for me to update to InCD Version 4291?
Thank you:
Jim
