Error message

Hi,

I hope I'm in the right forum.
I keep getting this error message all of a sudden every time I'm on the internet:

A run time error has occurred
Do you wish to debug
line 1
invalid character

whether I click yes or no to debug it keeps appearing, but after a few times after clicking yes or no it eventually disappears after a few clicks, only to appear later. Any suggestions please

I have run avg anti virus, malware software, spybot, no problems found.

Which browser are you using? Have you tried a different one?

Reinstall your Internet Explorer.

Kind of sounds as if something has corrupted the program.

Might not be possible if they are using Vista. There is no way to uninstall Internet Explorer or reinstall it iwth Vista.

I'm using firefox 3.0.2 and I have win xp

Have you tried IE, Opera, Chrome? Have you tried a reinstall of Firefox?
