I am getting this following error message espn for some reason

"*** Security Sandbox Violation ***
SecurityDomain 'http://static.espn.go.com/broadband/flash/motion/motion_promo_4thcol_3.swf' tried to access incompatible context 'http://espn.go.com/media/mlb/2004/0415/photo/wsox1v.jpg'
*** Security Sandbox Violation ***"

The message appears after a window opens up titled "Flash Player Debug Console"

Does any one know why this is happening and what I need to do to fix it? I use a win98 SE machine. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have run afoul of - or profited from, depending on how you look at it - new security provisions in Macromedia Flash Player 7.

These safeguards put a digital barrier - Macromedia calls it a sandbox - around the player so it would work only with a movie being viewed on one Web page.

The intent is to stop an Internet criminal from sneaking into your PC on the back of Flash Player while it is working with a legitimate site to show you a video.

The precaution, though, fouls up a video presentation off more than one Web page.

Your post included the full Security Sandbox Violation message with a reference to an ESPN site.

But if you look closely, you'll see that the Sandbox violation message actually includes references to two ESPN sites - a classic, if inadvertent, violation of Macromedia's security provisions.

One workaround is to install an earlier version of Macromedia Flash Player. Otherwise, you may have to do without some videos, at least until legitimate Web site operators wake up to the restrictions imposed by Flash Player 7
