End Program Tweak

I remember once, there was I tweak I used that when I shut down my computer, if it would ask me to end a program, the computer would just do it for me. If anyone knows what I am talking about, can you please tell me what the tweak was, or point me out to a site that shows this tweak. I have looked all over and can not find it anywhere.

There is a way I did this though, using the registry, and I would like to do it the same way.

Thanks, that's not exactly what I did before, but that does what I wanted it to do.
