is there any way to force "Empty Temporary Ineternet Files when browser is closed" in IE?
i only know how to set this but it doesn't get forced to other users.

Win Xp sp 1 or 2
IE 6.0

I dont think there is a way within IE to do so. Best bet have CCleaner run everyday on boot to clear out the Temo Files. Or everynight if the machines run all the time. That way it accomplishes the same thing.

well, i wanted to know if there's way to do it from a server side instead of having to go to each user's PC....

Yes with group policy. It's located in Computer and User Configuration/Administrative Template/Windows Component/Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel/Advanced Page

The setting is "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when broswer is closed"

Then apply it to the OU you want it to affect.

i found:
User Configuration/Administrative Template/Windows Component/Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel
and in right pane,
Disable the General page
Disable the Security page
Disable the Content page
Disable the Connection page
Disable the Program page
Disable the Privacy page
Disable the Advanced page

and each of them have "Not configured", "Enabled" or "Disabled" option.....
i don't see the option for "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when broswer is closed"???
