best thign to do ......get a removable HDD tray that fits in ..think its 5 n half inches slot (CD DRIVE slot on your case) then buy some cheap or you may be able to get some free off of old shite computers people dont want Hard drives anythign over 4-5 GB is good and keep em all spare when u need to use one pull out your try and pop one in fro backup never failed me
 
I am sure there is arule against this but hoe do i get around the xp "this is not cool software thing" no cd changer i can find will fix it, and bf2 is not working, bhahabad., <--what do you mean by that?
 
data is not gone even after it is overwritten once.

granted, it is EXTREMELY hard to recover, and will never be perfect.

but you can use magnetic imaging and stuff to recover the data, if its that important.

and i would suggest some service you can mail your HDD to to recover the data, or even better, one you can take it to yourself. they will probably be able to get some if not most of it back.
