Hi All,

Our Human Resources department is looking to move towards electronic forms, which will be used for New Starters, Leavers, Sick Leave, Returning to Work and so on.. This is to reduce costs and reduce the amount of mistakes made by the end user, whether it being spelling or hand writing etc.

We have been recently looking at Adobe, but unfortunately this would be running off Adobe Servers. Meaning Adobe will have access to company information and data such as, clients, personnel, suppliers and our internal information. This in itself breaches our risk of security, although I am sure Adobe are trustworthy and secure.

If anyone has any suggestions on what alternative options we can look into, or an alternative piece of software which can be ran from in house at our data centre, this would be extremely appreciated.

If anyone also uses as Adobe for this reason, any feedback would be great!

Many thanks in advance.

James

If you used fillable-PDF's then you wouldn't have to worry about Adobe integrating with your services. Using Acrobat you can create the PDF's, and then anybody with Reader can fill out the PDF's and send them through email to the correct person/department.

Thanks carnageX - This sounds like an ideal solution for us. We can use Adobe to create the template forms which I would imagine will be stored on the servers, but once the end user (Mainly Line Managers) have filled out this information, this can be emailed across to our HR Department and stored internally.
