I've got a problem with eclipse and the integrated CVS functionality. When I create a new Java file the substitution string property is set to ASCII -kkv automatically, because this is set in the CVS property window in Eclipse, but when I commit this new file this property is somehow set to unknown (-kkkv). Comitting unknown -kkkv property files to CVS is not a problem, but when I want to do update then a the following error is generated:
project_name: cvs update: internal error: unsupported substitution string -kkkv
This error is generated for every file that is on CVS with the -kkkv property. In order to get these files I will have to do a complete new checkout and change these properties to ASCII -kkv manually which is very tedious work of course. Does anybody have similar problems and knows how to solve it?
Thanks
