Easiest Way to Restore Email Folders/Files in Outlook 2007 ??

Ok, I really need to know HOW to restore Email (Outlook) files after a disc crash.

It's currently takes me MANY days to restore all the files/folders/settings to the previous state.

What is the EASIEST way to restore Email files on a new/fresh install ? System backup Restore ? Off a Disc Image ? Or use the Transfer Files (off External HDD) using the Transfer Wizard ???

I'm cornfused...
 
Save the PST file. In 2007 they are usually located here:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

If outlook still works you can also manager your data file (which is your PST) and choose where you want your PST to be. Since it is in an obscure place what i do is move it to 'my documents' because i regularly backup that folder.
