Windows XPPro SP2/Media 10 with nVdia DVD player plug-in.
I have tried to use Intervideo WinDVD6 platinum.
1. Some DVD's do not run and appear to "hunt" to lock in. Others start but within 30 seconds to a couple of minutes the sound breaks up and shortly after, playing freezes up. I have tried this on a raw XPpro/SP2 setup
2. Windows Media plays DVD's normally and recently found that Nero Sow Time also works, though sometimes it also locks up
Both Intervideo and Nero suggest a conflict situation but neither can offer any assistance.
My question is:
1. Does anyone know about this and have a solution
2. I an considering Cyberlink - any known problems?
