Default Duel Boot xp/vista HP laptop

So a friend of mine got a new HP laptop with vista on it. We're looking to make a new partition with partition magic and then putting xp on it. I've heard about the driver issues that can arise but other than that it shouldn't be to difficult right? is there anything i'm forgetting?

I wouldnt use Partition Magic. It hasnt been updated since 2000 when Norton bought it and Vista has a problem recognizing the partitions afterwards. I would use GParted to make your partitions.

Drivers can be found on the Recovery Disc or online.
