Default Dualview with laptop using XP

I have an extra monitor set up with my laptop and its currently set up with dualview and I have also made my monitor the primary display device. However... when I do a reboot, the primary display becomes my laptop screen again. I would like to keep it on my monitor as I have my laptop set up like a desktop anyway. I'm guessing XP itself has a script somewhere that keeps the first display device as its primary on a boot... is there a way I can rewrite this script or even use a piece of software that could of been written already to do what I'm asking?

Since you are using a laptop it will always use the screen on that as the primary on reboot as it doesnt know if the next time it reboot if the 2nd monitor will be hooked up. It isnt a script or anything. Just the way it works.

I dont think you could ever find software that will do it only cause if that odd chance came up where you ever did disconnect the monitor you wouldnt be able to see anyting then.
