Talking dual operating systems

i was wondering how i would go about putting 2 operating systems on my pc i currently am running xp pro and i want to install linux suse whats the easiest way to go about doing this. i have 2 different harddrives in my pc one of them is 200 gb and the other harddrive is 80 gb. can i put the linux operating system on the 80 gb harddrive will it boot the same.

I dual-boot SimplyMEPIS 3.3 with Windows 98SE on a partitioned HDD. During install you specify where to install Linux, and it should install the GRUB Loader.
