I told you from teh start that the RAM might hinder you. Plus it looks like you OC. Vista doesnt like OC.

Vista is only good on newer pc's. Peter, unfortunately your pc isn't up to par with bloated Vista and you now know. When I had vista installed on my pc, it's wasn't usual for the OS to use up to 1g of my memory. But some stay claim Vista is da bomb. BTW, I too had several crashes during my run at Vista. I'm back using XP and things are running absolutely perfect.
Now peter, if you are compelled to use a bloated OS like some others here on TF just because it's the newest MS OS, then you'll need to help out the economy and buy a whole new system.
Honestly though, Vista won't change your pc experience...seriously! Despite what others claim, Vista is just prettier. Stick with XP. It's mature and does the job.
