Dual boot set up

I currently have Vista 64 bit installed, and I want to install Windows 7 as well. I don't exactly know how to set this up, and I tried to find a sticky/tutorial here on it but couldn't find anything. Can someone point me in the direction of a good step-by-step tutorial? Is it hard? Also, do I risk losing anything that I have now?
