A friend of mine has win 7 64 bit system and would like to have vista on it as dual boot. I know its best to install oldest 1st then newest. Is there an easy way to do it new already on it and then vista? If so, how plz?

thx

There is not going to be an easy way to do it. You are right it is easier to install the older OS first. But it still can be done. He has to follow the normal steps. Just create a partition, install Vista. After that is when things might get tricky. If he is lucky the BCD (the bootloader used with Vista/Win7/Win8) will automatically add the Vista entry to the existing BCD Menu and create the dual boot. If not he is going to have to get EasyBCD, here is the latest build, and from there follow these instructions.
