Driver problem

Hi I need help.

I have a problem with an Ethernet Controller in device manager, its a yellow questionmark next to it and keeps the computer from connecting to my network

I suspect i miss drivers for my ADMtek AN983 based ethernet adapter version 2.12.507.2001.

ive googled it for about 4-5 hours now and given up, seeking help here

Is it a onboard ethernet adapter? If so what model of motherboard do you have?

If it is an expansion card is there any more information about it on the card itself?

its an expansion card by the name ADMtek AN983 based ethernet adapter version 2.12.507.2001 dont know what else info you want?

OK people!

I solved the problem by downloading a program that tells you what device is associated with the Ethernet Controller, it turned out to be a VIA VT6105 Rhine III Fast Ethernet Adapter, so downloaded a driver for that and now it works, in device manager it appears to be 2 network adapters which i do not understand why, but the ethernet controller problem question mark has disappeared and im connected now.
