Hi guys.
Need some help.
I just upgraded my PC from a Intel Core Duo, to an MSi motherboard and
an i5 processor with 8gb DDR3 1333 memory and a 120GB SSD for windows.
All is fine after reinstalling wintows to new drive, boots in about 3
seconds. Yeah.
But the problem I have is that I had 2 drives, a 1TB (E: Data and a
500Gb (C: windows. Obviously with the new hardware it won't boot to
windows from the original c: drive. So my c: is the SSD and the
original C: is now E: and the original E: is F: but I can not access
anything on the E: as they are all locked with a padlock, F: no problem
accessing it. So how can I get access to my E: Original C: drive??

You need to take ownership of the drive/folders.
Take Ownership of a File or Folder
Once you have ownership of the folder & files, you may or may-not need to give yourself permission for full control over them as well, but you most of the time you can't do that until you have ownership.

Thanks I'll give that a try. It'll be Tuesday before I get a chance but i'll let you know how I get on.
