Default drive list in dos

hey i am in the dos recovery console on my other computer right now and i was wondering if there was a way to list the dirves so that i can find out what drive my cd drive is.

It depends on how many partitions you have and how many hard drives. Say you have 2 HDD and 2 partitions each that would mean C:, D:, E: and F: would be the Hard drives and G: and H: would be the 2 CD drives or just G: if its one. I dont think there is a way to show a drive list. Either that or you can do the cd D: (change directory), cd E:, etc. until you CD drive kicks on

diskpart list volume

That should do it for you...
