Download Accelerators

Hey I just wanted to get some opinions on which the best d/l accelerators are. I don't know to many but I researched a little. The one I used and was happy with was Kontiki, but maybe there is better. Here is a list of some of the ones I saw:

Kontiki
Download Accelerator
WebRocket
Gozilla
FTP Explorer
SpeedConnect

Maybe some of you guys know the best free ones? Or best Retail ones?I think this would be a helpful discussion for everyone who is interested if people have some information they know.

Of those accelerators you've got on that list, Gozilla is the one that sticks out like a red flag... it's reported to be full of spyware and I totally would NOT recommend it.

I've been using Star Dowloader for the past few years... works great and it's FREE. (I actually tried DAP - download accelerator plus before Star and it's was OK... but Star is better because it doesn't display any ads while you're D/Ling.) do a google search... you should be able to find it.
