Hello,

I thought there was a version of Windows 7 that offered multiple product keys. I've been looking around online but haven't found anything to confirm this. Can anyone here confirm if there is a version of Windows 7 that offers multiple product keys? I could have swore something like that was offered when I was in college...

Retail versions (as well as MSDN version I believe) allow for 3 activations on 3 separate PC's. However, IIRC, they cannot be running the same key at the same time. So you could get PC A, and then upgrade to PC B, but you would have to take Windows off of PC A before you activate it on PC B.

There are VLK (Volume License Keys) which corporations use to install a single version of Windows on multiple PC's, but these are quite expensive.

There was a time when you could get what they called a "Family Pack" that included licenses for three pc's at a very low price. I think that's a done deal today, and I do not think it is available anymore
