i don't think it really matters if you use caps, just like in chess there is a figure that is called either a knight or horse.

But why use caps? I was writing a document in WORD today, but I accidentally used POWERPOINT instead...like, how weird is that?

dos is not in win2k or xp dude, there is a cli in windows, but it is not dos, nothing after nt 4.0 has been dos-based, xp has its own kernel that it is based off of

youre an idiot, the particles on the HDD platters are energized by the computers PSU, it is not possible to make them "lose" this charge as it is recharged every time the computer is turned on, the only thing that making them lose the charge would do is format the HDD, it is not possible for software to destroy hardware

I think if you all stopped looking at pr0n then you would find that your OS would run a lot smoother.

I say im anti mac, and i am. It just plain and simply doesnt do it for me. and by the sounds of it, Dethangel would agree.

But is it really worth getting fired up over? Is it worth swearing about!?! i dont know. let mac users be mac users, linux users be linux users and windows users be windows users. Now if you dont mind, im going to go back to my DOS computer. TTFN

Macs might be stable but try to find parts to build one or repair one. And wait for 3 to 6 months for all the games and apps to come out.I dont care how stable it is give it to me and I well have to reformat and reinstall within 3 months because I can screw up a computer faster than anyone I know.Thats why I learnd how to fix my own.HE HE

that's exactly what i said, they got rid of DOS on NT and it followed to 2000 and XP - and now in 2003. i said they are all not using DOS. you misinterpretated that a little bit.

i would very much agree, i would rather run winxp pro or linux on a p3 500 than osx on the fastest mac out there, as that OS is just aggravating

ok, the statment "i think it screws around with the magnetic particles in the disk platter until they have lost all their magnetic 'powers' or something" would imply that you believe this load of bull (u used the word "i") and i didnt say the psu changes the particles, the psu ENERGIZES THE PARTICLES when the computer is turned on, so that they dont move when the HDD starts to spin, and particles arent like power rangers, they dont have magical 'powers' lol
