Do you know how to extend C drive space?

Do you know how I can extend my C drive space on my Windows computer? I am using Windows7. The C drive has got a low disk space problem and needs to be increased in space. But, I don't know how to do that. Do you increase your partition before? Do you know the detailed steps? Please, help me!

Do you have available space on your hard drive where your C: partition is located?

Post a screenshot of your Disk Management screen if you're not sure.

If you do have available unallocated space to extend into, then I would recommend using GParted to extend your partition: http://www.techist.com/forums/f128/gparted-usage-tutorial-224994/

Do you have check whether there is some free space located on the same physical drive with your C drive?

If there is, you can follow my steps to expand your drive space:

1). Back up all important data well, open Disk Management, shrink the drive with free space and right click your C drive to choose “extend”.

2). But, if the “extend” option there is grayed out and cannot be used, you may also directly use some partition resizing tools online, like GParted, IM-Magic Partition Resizer Free and EaseUS Partition Master, etc.

Always remember to firstly back up all important data in case of data loss.

Have you resolved your problem?
As I know, the low disk space problem often can be easily resolved by adding enough free space there.
I know a video tutorial that teaches about how to add enough free space to a selected partition:
You can take chances with it at first.
Note: Make data backups all the time in case of data loss.
