Everywhere you read...." get latest drivers !!" . See this a lot when researching forums and tutorials re: DVD burning and movie-making. So I go to ATI ( using ATI Radeon 9000 All-in-Wonder , 64Mb ) . Found separate files for catalyst driver , WDM capture , and their MMedia Center, which includes TV tuner.
Then noticed they had all 3 bundled in one large file , so I chose to use that instead. TV tuner wouldnt work , and first time using
Arcsoft Movie editor , things bogged down real fast. I was used
to freezes while editing analog-to-mpeg movies all along, so why not try new drivers. I'm not sure it's better now. Uninstalled the
multimedia group, and used shipped disc to reinstall original setups....TV now works. But wondering, if I decide to go back, should I try "Rollback" drivers (winXP home)...or "Program
Recovery". Also option to install each driver separately rather than in bundled form. ??
