Diskeeper's Auto-Defrag

I don't know how to tell if Diskeeper is doing that auto-defrag thing seemlessly while I'm playing games or whatever.

It tells me when I set it up that it is, but I don't know... if it aint minimised or in a system tray icon, then it can't convince me it's active or doing anything.

Or am I doing something wrong...?

You really shouldnt let it run its defrag while you are playing games. You schedule it to run at offtimes because a defrag really kills your performance.

It uses the CPU's idle status as a leeway, so it doesn't impact on system performance at all.

Under the task manager do you see Diskeeper listed either under the running applications or under the services? If not then it isnt working.
