Hi, I made a topic like this 6 months ago, and got some great responses, but I searched for my topic today, and I think it got deleted since it was so old. Sorry about the inconvinience, but I'll ask it again.

I need to learn how to disable any background programs that are executed upon windows starting up everytime. For an example, everytime I boot my computer, EA Link and Quicktime always appear when I clearly don't want to use them. Also, when I open task manager, my commit charge is 520M/3939M which seems kind of high to me. And there are processes running that I could never identify, so I can't just go around deleting them.

So, I need to identify what these processes are. Basically, I don't want any uneccessary processes being executed upon startup, and I want to lower my commit charge in order to make my games run smoother. Thanks!

Go to run and type msconfig, in the startup tab u can uncheck everything, just leave ur antivirus checked
