I'm trying to install VMware Server 1.0.6-91891 and it has unsigned drivers. I've done the following:
I've also done some regedit changes to ignore unsigned drivers.
I have the 'Test Mode' watermark on the windows desktop but I still get the same issue where when I install VMware Server it tells me that there are 3 unsigned drivers, and therefore I lose the ability to run the Server from Localhost, which is required for me.
Anybody got other ideas? I know there is signing the drivers manually, which is my next step, just wondering if there's anything else out there that's an easier option.
I also realize that version 2 has signed drivers and should be ok, I'm just stuck on why the overriding signed driver methods I've taken aren't working.
bcdedit -set nointegritychecks ON
bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
