Default DirectX Problem

Heylo guys n gurllz ...

I just got DirectX 9.0c and i hav noticed a big lag in all my games, they dont run as quick as they did when I had DirectX 8.1.

Does anyone know how I can somehow 'uninstall' DirectX 9 and re-install DirectX 8.1?

Any help would be appriciated peeps!

There is no program YET to remove the latest direct X version. There's one removal program for Directx x 9.0 B .. I guess you have to wait for some more time to get the removal tool for DX 9.0C.

Otherwise...reinstall windows
