different OS are view different HD partitions

I have two HDs,one HD installed XP OS,the other one installed 2000 OS, if I start up computer enter XP,then the only view one HD's partition with installed xp HD. in the same way, if I select 2000 OS,then only view one HD's partitions with installed 2000 HD. In BIOS can setting the HD visible, but I must setting in every time if I Need, It's too trouble .Should everyone give me advise? thanks !
