DETAILS..Please!! XP Folders

Cant get folders to always open in Details. I also have not
been able to show file extensions! I miss the simple ways of
Win 95 when it comes to many UI options. I hate the panel at left of most folder views , that you have to get rid of to see
tree listings. Search Files is an abomination , which reminds me
I need to get Agent Ransack on this computer.

Hi Lew,,

try this,,

Just open explorer then set one folder as you like it then choose tools/folder
options/view then select apply to all folders..
