Default Desktop taking forever to pop up.

I have an Acer latop that the desktop takes at least 1 min to pop up when you log on. Sometimes up to 5 min. It's a relatively new comp, maybe 5 months. It doesn't have any screensavers or backgrounds installed. What can I look at to speed it up?

Here's a screenshot of the msconfig. I don't see anything that's odd.
