Desktop background gone

Not sure what I did, but you know that screen that comes up saying "Restore Actve Desktop", with a bunch of notes on blinding white? When I click it, a dialogue comes up asking if I still want to run scripts, and whether I click yes or no the background doesn't come back. I guess it's just not loading the background file. If anyone knows an easy fix, it would be much appreciated.
 
Tried right clicking on desktop > properties > and changing your wallpaper back to the one you had that way? I know that fixes it usually.
 
That happened to me a bunch of times on my old laptop. I forget the reason though. You'll just have to set the wallpaper again like carnage said.
 
It also sounds as if you have your desktop prepped to run with the Web. Right click the desktop. Properties>Desktop>Customize Desktop>Web tab. Make sure uncheck Active Desktop.
