I attempted to move a folder located on my external harddrive to another location on my external. The folder contains video clips and music. Initially it wound up in another unrelated folder also on my external. When I attempted to remove it from this location, the folder, (the one I had been trying to move), disappeared. I did a system restore to 12/31/07 and got the folder back. The problem is that now, I cannot access any of the files contained in this folder. the content is there, all 9.05 Gb of it, but I receive an "access denied message each time I try to open an individual file. According to Microsoft web help, the error code is COOD11D2.
I am the Administrator of this computer, and the files contained in the folder are not currently in use.
Additionally, Where before, the files were identified by their own icons, they are now listed by tiles.
How can I regain access to this folder and it's files???????
