deleting unread messages

Is it possble to delete all unread messages in microsoft outlook express. I have about 3000 unread messages but would like to keep all the read ones. Is there a simple way that I can just tell it to delete all unread messages. Thanks

highlight one of them, hit ctrl + a. that selects all. then hit delete.

That would select all the messages though not just unread ones..hmmm not sure if you can do this. What I would do is arrange the messages by "unread" then simply do a batch select and delete them.
