I'm running Windows 2000 and would like to delete the "Search for Files and Folders" history (this is the one where a "Search Results" window opens when right-clicking on a folder and selecting "Search").
The problem is that when a user enters text in the "Search for files and folders named:" box all previous searched for files beginning with the same characters entered appear in a drop down menu. Not much privacy there.
As I see it, this is different from clearing the Temporary Internet files and the Internet History (deleting those files has no effect on the "Search for Files and Folders" history.
Is it possible to manually clear this history?
