i have dual hard drives with diffrent os systems. when i boot i ahve the option to boot from one or the other. i formated the drive with an os i didnt want anymore. but i still get the option of booting from that os. when i try to boot from it it says it cant bc files are missing(obviously). how do i make the option go away?

Boot from your OS Disk and then when it displays which harddrive you want to install your OS on, it should also give you the option to delete what ever is on the drives.

ok you were right about all the steps but upon reboot i still get an option to boot from two operating systems.

When you boot to the working OS you want, go to msconfig, boot.ini and the check all boot paths...what does that give you?

thanx man. that was the trick. man ive looked at that menu like a million times but just didnt think about it. thanx again
