Defrag

How many of you guys do disk cleanup and defrag? Do you do it on a regular basis?

I do it every week....it helps keep my system running at its fastest. Load times, especailly in games, and become tedious if you don't defrag often.

I never used to do it but have recently been doing it on a regular basis. Some people say you don't need it and others say you do. My computer start and shutdown quicker than before. I'm glad to hear from another user that does it regularly.

Weekly basis. The more you do it the less time it takes each time.

Every other day. I do alot of downloads and file activity. I usually analyze it often to see how much red there is.

btw. I use Diskeeper

I defrag about once a month, disk clean up...hardly ever.

It was a hassle using the built-in defrag because you have to remember to do it and it slowed down the computer when it's running. I got a third party defrag program and scheduled the defrag so I don't have to worry about running it.
