Hi,

I recently installed Windows XP onto my computer, which previously had Windows ME.

Unfortunately, I hadn't seen the option that allowed you to choose which drive to install it onto; alas, XP was installed into drive D, and the worthless WinME was left in drive C.

I tried dragging the Windows folder, but it didn't let me.

Is there any way I can quickly swap them around, or would I have to do it the long way? I could only think of:
- Format C:
- Install XP on C:
- Place all important stuff on D: and format D:

I think that would take approx 3 hours - Is this the only way?

I'm quite inexperienced with computers, as you can see

Thanks

Which ever drive is the master is what xp should be on. Do it the long. You won't be able to move the files over to the other drive. So reformat.

I was afraid of that >_<

I'll start backing up my stuff now, then format.

Oh, one more thing:

Will I have to reinstall Norton Security & all those Windows Updates?

Thanks
