csrss.exe problems

this pops up on start up every time, can anyone tell me how to fix this?? is this a virus or what? After i type in my password it holds on the login screen for about 10 seconds then when i get to desktop i get the error above.

disable all entries in msconfig>startup except your antivirus and reboot and see what happens

Please do check in ur Registry by following the path below

path = HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENT VERSION\WINLOGON

Then Look for a Name "Shell" and edit the corresponding data values by deleting "C:\windows\Config\csrss.exe" and leaving "Explorer.exe".
