Question Critical error solution..?

Hi, when i was playing games, sometimes win stops responding and then report that a critical error was occured which said:
OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: GenuineIntel Unknown processor @ 3017 MHz with 767MB RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 (7189)

IDirect3DVertexBuffer8::Lock failed(D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE).

Also, it reported that something went wrong with the nv4_disp...!

This device does not support the queried technique.
I think its a hardware problem.
