Create a partition

Hi guys, Im running Winxp and was wondering how I could partition my hard drive. Cuz before i tried the help system where it showed me how to do it visually where you go into the admin control panel or whatever and then disk management and choose partition. Up to that point Im stuck on. I know you can do it in the command prompt, but i do not know the commands to do it.

You would be best getting hold of a utility such as pq's partition magic - regarding being able to do it at command prompt - this is using a program called fdisk -- best to stick to an nice GUI setup like pq magic unless you are comfortable with terms such as primary, logical etc terms.

If you have a standard Windows 9x boot disk, you can partition hard drives as desired. Just remember, unless you use Partition Magic, you WILL delete the data on your drive.
