Default Corrupt Windows Registry

Have this customers computer here, and im just trying to install some software and hardware, and i keep getting this registry error, think he has a corrupt registry, can i fix the registry with the reapir utility on the Windows XP disk, or is there another way, and no he did not back up his registry, thanks

Have you tried using a tool like Norton System Works or Registry Doctor? I've had a fair amount of success using Norton...just a thought. I'll poke around some more and see what I can find.

Whats the Application you are tying to install? Is there a previous version on the machine? Is this a re-installation?
