Default copying from hard drive to CD

I'm copying some files (word, PDF, and image) on to a blank CD, but I'd like to copy them such that when one uses the CD, all the files are read only and cannot be modified, copied, or saved as to another destination.

I'm not sure if this topic fits under one of the sub-forums which is why I posted it here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

As long as its on a normal CD an not a CD-RW they will be read only.

If you are copying on to a Hard drive right click on the file an go to properties an select READ ONLY.

They can just copy the files to their hard drive and do whatever they want. I don't think you can do what you are wanting.

Edit: Well maybe you can. Probably not cost effective however.

Dave is right. A user can just copy the data to their hard drive and then modify it to their will. You will have to look into copyright protection of the CD to prevent this from happening.
