converting WMA to mp3

Okay, go into windows media player and start playing the file. Then go to File> Save Media As..> then put .mp3 after the name of the song and make sure it's set to save as all files. It always works for me. I do this vice versa taking mp3 into wma so I can play it online.

Tried that...didn't work...somehow, after I change the .wma to .mp3 using windows media player, none of my players (iTunes, musicmatch) can play that file.

The problem is actually with iTunes.
See, I uses Nero to burn my CDs usually.
I can add files .mp3 and .wma to Nero and it'll burn it into a CD.
However, the format I've gotten from iTunes which is MPEG-9 or something like that is not recognize by Nero.

Therefore, I can't compile all my songs together and custom build a music CD for myself.

Thanks for everyone's help though
