converting a color image to black and white using paint

Hello

is it possible to convert a color image(.jpg) into a black and ahite image(shades of grey) using paint?

Go Image>Attritubes. There should be an option there that allows you to change it from Color to black and white.

i did that

but i got a complete black and no white image

Well other than that i cant say that it doesn. Maybe try GIMP. It is free and has way more options that Paint.
